- The season will run from December 6, 2025  to March 7, 2026. There will be no games on President’s weekend.

- All games and practices are on Saturday.

- All players will play the same amount, regardless of skill level

- All participants in the In Town program must reside in Westfield or attend school in Westfield.

Beginning January 2024:  Players who are assigned to a travel team may not play in the In-Town/Rec program.

Boys Rec information by grade

2^nd grade

- Practices (45 minutes) and games (45 minutes) are combined into one 90 minute session

- We try and keep the rosters small to optimize practice and game time for each child. There will be ~12 teams with 10 players per team, playing 4 vs. 4

- Scoring will not be kept

- Stealing the ball is not allowed

- Baskets are about 8 feet tall to begin but may be raised later in the season

3^rd-5^th grade

- Practices (45 minutes) and games (45 minutes) are combined into one 90 minute session

- Games will be 5 on 5 with a referee

- Basket will be regulation height

- Grades 4^th – 5^th will have playoffs

6^th-8^th grade

- Practices and games will be combined into 60-75 minute sessions depending on gym availability

- Games will be 5 on 5 with a referee

- Basket will be regulation height

- Final two weeks of the season will be playoffs

9^th-12^th grade

- Session time with be 60 minute games

- Location will alternate between the Varsity gym and Gym 5

- Games will be 5 on 5 with a referee

- Basket will be regulation height

- Final two weeks of the season will be playoffs
